Colorado Safety Educators has teamed up with Five Star Seminars to present Public Awareness Campaigns to help boost community awareness.

Safety Tip of the Month:
'Tis the season for shopping. 'Tis also the season for crimes such as identity theft and robbery.
  • If you plan on using a credit card for shopping, only bring the card you plan on using.
  • Shop with a friend. There is nothing worse that stumbling around the mall and parking lots with your arms full of shopping bags.
  • Do not let strangers help you get your bags into the car, even if they appear to be harmless.
  • Have your keys ready when you get to your car.
  • Lock your doors immediately after you get into the car.

Doing these simple techniques could prevent an attacker from targeting you.
Have yourselves a happy, SAFE holiday season!

Testimonial of the Month:
"The Colorado Safety Educators are a vital part of the education process regarding assault and lines of defense. Women are only empowered when they attain useful knowledge, utilize learned skills and implement informed thought processes. Barbara Scott is a dynamic speaker who creates an atmosphere of learning, awareness and daily practice of defense. She teaches not to be paranoid or afraid; her message is about confidence and intelligence. I would highly recommend that she be invited to speak in front of any at-risk group."
